Raised in Powhatan, Virginia, Brittney brings years of experience in hospitality, management, catering, and event operations to the Journey Settlements team. Her career has largely been spent in fast paced, people focused environments where strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to think on her feet are essential.

Throughout her professional career, Brittney has worked across many sides of the hospitality and event industries, from training and bartending to front of house and catering management and large scale live events. Those experiences have given her a unique ability to juggle moving pieces, anticipate what needs to happen next, solve problems quickly, and most importantly connect with people. She thrives in environments where no two days look exactly the same and takes pride in making even complicated or stressful situations feel a little easier for the people around her.

At Journey Settlements, Brittney brings that same combination of organization, adaptability, and genuine love of working with people to every transaction. She understands the importance of the details while never losing sight of the people behind them and enjoys being part of a team working toward the same goal.

Outside of the office, Brittney’s world revolves around her son, Nico, and their Cane Corso, Maze. When she isn’t on the sidelines watching Nico play sports, the two can often be found riding their e-bikes or finding something new to do around Richmond. She loves live music and will happily find a reason to attend just about any local event—concerts, festivals, rodeos, and anything else that sounds like a good time.

Brittney is also a firm believer that everything is better with a theme and rarely passes up an excuse to fully commit to one. When life slows down, she’s just as happy gardening, escaping to the beach, or sitting on the patio under the moon with music playing. And somewhere in between all of that, there’s usually time for her not-so-small obsession with skincare.
